How to make it

  • Grind the Soaked Urad dal without water
  • Make sure the batter will float in the water like butter
  • Make a thick syrup of water & sugar & pinch of colouring pwdr,cardamon pwdr
  • In a thick bottomed pan heat oil
  • Make a cone from a sheet of plastic bag..
  • Add 2 or 3 tsp if the batter into it
  • Cut off one end to make small hole
  • Press the batter into the oil like spirals
  • Fry till crisp on both sides
  • Remove from oil,drain a bit,dunk it in the sugar syrup for 10-15 min
  • Serve it in a room temp
