How to make it

  • Heat oven to 400. Gather a 13X9 baking dish.
  • Slice the onion into thick slices. Scatter in bottom of dish.
  • Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Lay on top of onions.
  • Chop fresh sage. Scatter over chops.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan. Add flour and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Slowly add liquid of your choice and stir until thickened. Stir in Worcestershire and mustard. Remove from the heat.
  • Thinly slice the potatoes. Scatter over chops and season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour sauce over chops and potatoes. Cover with foil. Bake 50 minutes. Remove foil and continue to bake another 10 minutes or until potatoes are browned.

    That sounds very, very tasty to me - we seem to eat a lot of pork lately, so always like to see a new way to make it, and we love sharp mustards...this should make the perfect combo for us - thanks!
