I love the spicy version which tastes like curry puff eventhou everyones seems to enjoy the sweet one .

Ingredients
  • Badusha :
  • 1 1/2 C all purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp vegetable shortening
  • Pinch of baking pwd
  • 5 tsp yogurt
  • SYRUP :
  • 1 C water and 1/2 C sugar with pinch of cardamom .... boiled until string consistency

Directions
  1. Mix everything and form a dough .
  2. Roll into rectangular shape .
  3. Cut into pieces and fold both sides and join the ends ,
  4. Fry them .
  5. Dip in the Syrup .
  6. ...................................................................................................................
  7. Alternatively , Omit the sugar syrup and
  8. Make your fave spicy filling and keep in the center before folding and then fry

What is the origin of Badusha? Sounds Indian.


It maybe Indian , not sure thou . Got it from an uncle from pakistan : )
