Tomato Cakes

- 3/4 Cup rolled oats shopping list
- 1/3 Cup water shopping list
- 1-1/2 Tablespoons tomato paste shopping list
- 2 Medium tomatoes,chopped shopping list
- 1 onion,minced shopping list
- 1 egg,lightly beaten shopping list
- 2 teaspoons chopped parsley shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- oil for frying. shopping list
How to make it
- Mix the oats,water and tomato paste and let stand for 15 minutes.
- Add the tomatoes and onions and mix well.
- Stir in the egg and parsley,salt and pepper to taste.
- Form the mixture into small cakes.
- Fry in the oil over low heat until golden brown.
