These cookies have been in my family for ages. We love to make these around the holidays! They are great gifts and make a wonderful display!

Ingredients
  • 1/2 C softened butter
  • 1/3 C peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 C sugar (will need more for rolling dough in)
  • 1/2 C brown sugar
  • 1 3/4 C flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 bag of Hershey's Chocolate Kisses

Directions
  1. Pre - heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Using an electric mixer, mix butter and peanut butter until well blended.
  3. Add egg, vanilla & sugars and mix until well blended.
  4. Gradually add flour, baking soda, salt and blend.
  5. Shape dough into walnut sized balls, roll in sugar and put into oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Place 1 chocolate kiss in center of each cookie.
  7. Place cookies back into oven to melt kiss into cookie. About 1 minute.
