Jello Poke Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 box cake mix, made as directed in a 9 x 13 pan

1 box jello, made with 3/4 cup hot, 3/4 cup cold

1 box pudding, made as directed for "pie"

1 container cool whip

Directions

After the cake has cooled poke it all over with a fork. Make the jello and while still iquid, pour SLOWLY over the holes of the cake.

Chill

Once chilled, make the pudding, poor over the cake.

Chill

Just before serving, spread with cool whip.

Now! Be creative

yellow cake, lime jello, vanilla frosting

straweberry cake, strawberry jello, vanilla frosting

chocolate cake, cherry jello, chocolate pudding

The list goes on and on!

Silly thing is...jello is not usually considered vegetarian!! Maybe you could find an alternative, I'll try this recipe and probably stick with it's convenience and "tried and true" history--M
