Easy Sweet Potato Casserole

- 6 cups of fresh cooked sweet potatoes (i bake mine) shopping list
- 1 and 1/2 cups of sugar shopping list
- 1 cup of butter shopping list
- 3 large eggs beaten shopping list
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla shopping list
- 2/3 cup of milk shopping list
- TOPPING: shopping list
- 1 cup of light brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup of all purpose flour shopping list
- 1 stick of butter shopping list
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Bake and cool sweet potatoes
- preheat oven to 350
- peel and measure out 6 cups of cooked sweet potaoes
- add potatoes to mixing bowl
- add sugar, butter and mix until combined
- to the above mixture add the eggs, vanilla, and milk and mix until smooth
- pour into a greased casserole
- TOPPING:
- in a bowl mix by hand or fork
- te brown sugar, flour, butter, and chopped pecans
- mixture should be crumbly
- sprinkle over the top of the casserole
- Place casserole in preheated oven
- bake for 30 mins and check to see if the topping has browned and the casserole is bubbling if not cook for another 10 to 15 mins
- serve warm
- its even better warmed up the next day.
