How to make it

  • Bake and cool sweet potatoes
  • preheat oven to 350
  • peel and measure out 6 cups of cooked sweet potaoes
  • add potatoes to mixing bowl
  • add sugar, butter and mix until combined
  • to the above mixture add the eggs, vanilla, and milk and mix until smooth
  • pour into a greased casserole
  • TOPPING:
  • in a bowl mix by hand or fork
  • te brown sugar, flour, butter, and chopped pecans
  • mixture should be crumbly
  • sprinkle over the top of the casserole
  • Place casserole in preheated oven
  • bake for 30 mins and check to see if the topping has browned and the casserole is bubbling if not cook for another 10 to 15 mins
  • serve warm
  • its even better warmed up the next day.
