Vermicelli Kheer

- 100 g vermicelli shopping list
- 150 g milk shopping list
- 1 tsp ghee or butter shopping list
- 11/2 c sugar shopping list
- cardamon powder 1/2 tsp shopping list
- casewnuts &raisins shopping list
How to make it
- Heat Ghee or butter in a pan
- Add Vermicelli and fry well
- Remove from fire and keep aside
- Boil the milk and simmer till it reduce to half
- Now add the roasted Vermicelli and cook for a while
- Add Sugar,cardamon &cook for 2-5min
- Then add dry frits,cool &serve

Hmmm I tot Kheer means rice pudding and the similar dessert is called firni/phimi.
Love ur version thou . Gets my 5 .
But not sure wat it is close to .. Vermicelli Kesari or Payasam ????cholena in Food World loved it -
we in South Africa of Indian origin also love it,made it not so long ago actually.......:] gets my '5' .............my whole family loves it
