MARSHMALLOW DESSERT

- 110 grams butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 egg beaten shopping list
- 1 cup cake flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup S R F {self raising flour } shopping list
- pinch salt shopping list
- marshmallow FILLING:- shopping list
- whites of 3 eggs shopping list
- 4 tsp gelatine { falooda powder } shopping list
- 3/4 cup water shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 3/4 cup water shopping list
- melted chocolate shopping list
- toasted coconut shopping list
How to make it
- for the crust :-
- sift 2 types of floursinto a bowl,add salt and sugar
- rub in butter to resemble breadcrumbs
- add egg and make a dough
- roll dough out thinly to fit a slightly deep 37 x 26 cms baking tray
- bake until lightly golden
- cool
- marshmallow filling:-
- dissolve the gelatine/falooda powder in the first measure of water bring to the boil......
- in another saucepan,add the sugar and the 2nd amount of water ,boil until a thick syrup.....spin a thread ...
- keep the 2 mixtures warm
- beat egg whites stiff
- add the warm mixtures slowly and beating all the time
- beat for a while longer until nice and thick and creamy
- pour into pan and set
- pour melted chocolate over ,sprinkle with some toasted coconut
