How to make it

  • Work the above ingredients, except for the shrimp, into a beer batter.
  • Peel shell from shrimp, leaving the last section and tail intact.
  • Cut almost through shrimp at the center back without cutting ends.
  • Dry shrimp and dip into beer batter.
  • Fry in deep, hot fat until golden brown, drain, serve at once.
