Ingredients
  • Cashewnut powder - three and a half cups
  • Sugar - one and a half cups
  • Water - one and one on three cups
  • Liquid glucose - 2 tbsps
  • Ghee - one and a hlaf tbsps
  • Silver varq/foil - as required

Directions
  1. Cook sugar and water till the syrup reaches 118C and you get multi strings. Add liquid glucose, ghee and stir well.
  2. Remove from heat and add cashew nut powder stirring continuously. If necessary add one tablespoon of water and keep stirring till the temperature comes down to 65C
  3. Knead completely to make a soft dough. Roll out on a flat greased surface to a one centimetre thickness.
  4. Rub a butter paper over the surface to smoothen it evenly.
  5. Apply silve varq and cut into diamond pieces.
  6. Store in an air- tight containers.
