I love burgers, and I try to stick with turkey to keep it a little healthier. These ones are stellar! I absolutely love them.

Ingredients
  • * 1 pound ground turkey
  • * 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • * 1 chipotle chile in adobo sauce, finely chopped
  • * 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • * 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • * 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • * 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • * 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • * 4 slices mozzarella cheese (or Pepperjack if you want to spice it up even more)
  • * 4 hamburger buns, split and toasted
  • * Tomato, lettuce and onion to top

Directions
  1. preheat grill to medium-medium high heat
  2. in a bowl combine ground turkey, garlic, chipotle chile, onion powder, seasoned salt, and black pepper
  3. form 4 patties with mixture
  4. place patties onto grill and cook about 3-5 minutes on each side or until the center is cooked through (no pink)
  5. melt cheese on patties before you take them off the grill
  6. place the cheesy patties on toasted buns with lettuce tomato and onion or any other toppings you choose.
