Grilled Bananas Foster

This is a delicious Bananas Foster Recipe.
Ingredients
- 4 ripe, firm bananas, peeled and left whole shopping list
- 1/4 cup honey Brush bananas with honey shopping list
- 1 stick unsalted butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup banana liqueur shopping list
- 2 tablespoons light or dark rum shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon plus extra for sprinkling on top shopping list
How to make it
- Brush bananas with honey.
- Arrange bananas over hot coals and grill just until marked.
- Turn and grill until bottom is marked.
- This can be done several hours ahead.
- Cut into thick slices right before adding to sauce.
- Melt butter, sugar, liqueur, rum and cinnamon in skillet.
- After it starts to bubble, add bananas.
- Sauté just until tender and coated.
- Divide between glasses or bowls.
- Top with a scoop of ice cream.
- Sprinkle with additional cinnamon.
