Beef Sauerkraut And Rice Casserole Recipe
This is one of those comfort meals. Have plenty of sour cream on hand as my family always likes to add more as they go.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb. gound pork
  • 1/2 lb. ground lean beef
  • 6 c. prepared white rice
  • 1 med. onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 pkg. sauerkraut
  • 1 lg. container sour cream, at least
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • s&p

Directions
  1. Cook onion and garlic until transparent. Add ground pork & ground beef and cook until brown. Add s&p and paprika. Remove from heat and drain fat.
  2. Drain and rinse sauerkraut. Fry sauerkraut in fry pan with 1 tsp. oil until browned a little. Mix together with rice and meat mixture and sour cream. Top with more sour cream.
  3. Bake 350 oven 45 minutes.
