  • ONIONS
  • CARDOMAN PODS, CLOVES, TURMERIC PLUM TOMATOES
  • GREEK YOGHURT
  • COCONUT MILK
  • POTATOES
  • ASPARAGUS SPEARS
  • MINT AND CORIANDER LEAVES
  • CUCUMBER AS SIDE DISH

Directions
  1. FOR 4 PEOPLE
  2. WASH 8 OZS. BISMATI RICE
  3. PUT IN PAN AND COVER WITH WATER AND BOIL FOR 5 MINUTES WITH LID OFF THEN SIMMER FOR FURTHER 5 MINUTES WITH LID ON PAN
  4. THEN TURN OFF THE HEAT AND STEAM FOR 5 MINUTES
  5. DO NOT REMOVE LID FOR THIS.
  6. THEN FORK THROUGH TO LOOSEN THE GRAIN
  7. MEANWHILE CUT 4 NEW POTATOES INTO STICKS AND SAUTE FOR 5 MINUTES IN SUNFLOWER OIL.
  8. ADD 8 ASPARAGUS SPEARS CUT INTO 3 CM. LENGTHS
  9. SAUTE FOR ANOTHER 5 MINUTES UNTIL TENDER.
  10. STIR MIXTURE INTO RICE AND SERVE WITH MINT AND CORIANDER LEAVES SCATTEED ON TOP
  11. A BOWL OF YOGHURT AND CUCUMBER SALAD ON THE SIDE.
  12. ADD SLICED FRESH GREEN CHILLIES FOR A LITTLE HEAT IF DESIRED.
