Merediths Chocolate Sauce

A delicious chocolate sauce for ice cream or pound cake. I said it makes 10 servings, but if you're a chocoholic, it might just make one! Leave out the cocoa and you have a wonderful caramel sauce.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup whipping cream shopping list
- 3 tbsp butter (cut up) shopping list
- 1/3 cup white sugar shopping list
- 1/3 cup brown sugar shopping list
- dash of salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup sifted cocoa shopping list
How to make it
- Stir whipping cream and butter over moderate head until just boiling
- Stir in sugars and salt until completely disolved (test for granules)
- Reduce heat and briskly stir in cocoa until well mixed.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool.
