How to make it

  • Fry bacon until done in a big pot and remove
  • cut up sausage and bacon in bite size pieces
  • pour off some of the grease leave enough grease to saute onions and peppers until soft.
  • Put the bacon and sausage back in the pot
  • Add 2 cans chicken broth bring to a boil
  • Add rice and cover
  • Cook for 20 mins
  • Add red beans stir and reheat for 10 mins
