Baking Mix

This is from the More with Less cookbook, my brother's text book from college. It's really handy and you can make anything with it that you would use Bisquick for. Servings size is # of pounds
Ingredients
- 10 c all purpose flour shopping list
- 6 Tbs baking powder shopping list
- 1 1/2 Tbs salt shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp cream tartar shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar shopping list
- Cut in 2 c shortening shopping list
How to make it
- Store in large covered container at room temperature.
- To measure baking mix, pile lightly into a cup and level with a spatula.

Always a staple around this house! Cheaper to use and never of questionable quality (e.g.- you know how 'old' it is). :o)
