Hi one small suggestion..
for preparing Gulab jamoon, the ingredient that makes it soft is "Sweetless Khoya"( which can be prepared at home by boiling milk(1/2 ltr )and adding a T-spoon of citric(lemon juice) and draining the water from the milk) this can be used to make gulab jamoon, u can use this khoya, little of all purpose flour and make them into balls and fry in oil and then add to the sugar syrup.
note:flour is added for gettin the batter to consistency of making it to balls
