Microwaved Salmon

- Two salmon steaks shopping list
- 1 Medium onion shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
- Schilling vegetable Supreme shopping list
- Best Foods or Hellman's Mayo shopping list
- Glass cooking dish shopping list
How to make it
- Wash steaks with water.
- Remove skin from steaks or fillets. I like steaks as it is easier to remove the skin. Removing the skin reduces fish smell.
- Once the skin is removed, you will see per the pic #4 there is a dark area that should also be removed. Cut out the area shown.
- Pic #7 shows a close-up of the marbling. These layers of fat make the fish flavorful and tender. Salmon from Norway is heavy marbled and is the best I have ever ate.
- Put olive oil on each side and season with Vegetable Supreme.
- Dice the onion.
- Put 1/2 of the onion under the steaks and half on top.
- Put plastic wrap over the dish and microwave on 50% power for 5 minutes. Allow to stay in the over 5-10 minutes. Carefully remove from the microwave, the dish is hot. My microwave is 1300 watts, adjust time for your oven.
- I like to eat hot or cold salmon with a dab of mayo with Vegetable Supreme. Enjoy.
