How to make it

  • Stir vinegar into milk.
  • Cream butter and sugar until fluffy then beat in egg and peel.
  • Sift together dry ingredients then add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
  • Beat well after each addition.
  • Drop from teaspoon 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheet then bake at 350 for 14 minute.
  • Combine sugar and lemon juice to make glaze.
  • Remove cookies from oven and brush with glaze while warm.
