How to make it

  • Chop the onions finely.
  • Grind garlic and ginger to a fine paste.
  • Boil potatoes with water for 20 minutes. Peel the skin and mash it coarsely with salt.
  • Grind the grated coconut with water. Filter the syrup and keep aside.
  • (Do the 4th step, thrice)
  • Fry chopped onions in oil. Add ginger, garlic paste. Fry till the fresh smell of the garlic disappears.
  • Add the mashed potatoes. Add the third coconut milk. Allow till the first boil comes.
  • Now add the second coconut milk. Allow to boil for seven or eight minutes.
  • Turn off the flame. Now add the first coconut milk.
  • Spread cilantro for garnish.
