This is a great spin on regular mac & cheese. I have to admit it is from Paula Deen! **Note: I have made this several times and sometimes it comes out with a bit of a strange texture. I'm guessing it is the milk? but it still tastes great!!

Ingredients
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni (an 8 oz. box isn't quite 2 cups)
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 2 12 cups (10 oz.) sharp cheddar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 can condensed cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper

Directions
  1. Boil macaroni and drain.
  2. In saucepan, mix butter and cheese.
  3. Stir until cheese melts.
  4. In slow cooker, combine cheese/butter mixture, eggs, sour cream, soup, salt, milk, mustard, pepper.
  5. Stir well.
  6. Add macaroni and stir again.
  7. Set on low for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
