- 1/2 pound split yellow peas shopping list
- 3 small button sized onions shopping list
- 6 onion sprigs shopping list
- 4 watercress sprigs shopping list
- 2 green chilies shopping list
- 1 parsley sprig shopping list
- 1 teaspoon turmeric shopping list
- 1 teaspoon thyme shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Soak peas in cold water for a day then drain thoroughly.
- Chop all vegetable ingredients finely.
- Place peas in a food processor and process to a paste.
- Transfer to bowl then add turmeric, salt and pepper then and vegetable ingredients and mix well.
- Heat oil in deep frying pan then when hot roll walnut sized pieces of paste and drop into hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown then remove from oil and drain on kitchen towels.
- Serve hot.
