Date Ginger And Apple Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup roughly chopped dates (heaped)

1/2 cup glace ginger (or sultanas)

1 large diced apple

1 tbspn butter

2 tbspns golden syrup (or another heavy syrup)

1 tspn vanilla essence

1 cup boiling water

2 cups SR flour

1 tspn mixed spice

1/2 tspn chili

Directions

Mix it all up!

Bang it into a greased form of your choice

Cook 30-40 mins in a moderate oven (around 200 degrees C)

Allow to cool, and have a cuppa with it!!!
