How to make it

  • bring stock to a boil,
  • add ingredients
  • cook on simmer for 25 minutes, untill rice is done and water is absorbed.
  • serve with corn bread or biscuits.

    Gave you a five for this recipe. I can imagine how good it tastes. Not sure who woke up on the wrong side of the bed and gave you such a low rating. Cooking rice in broth tastes fabulous. That is how I cook brown rice. Makes all the difference in the world. If you're using leftover pork roast, this dish would make my husband very happy.
