How to make it

  • Combine meat, bulgur, onion, water, parsley, mint, allspice, pepper and cinnamon.
  • Place in food processor and process until doughy.
  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Lightly oil baking dish and pat half the meat mixture into pan and sprinkle nuts over top.
  • Cover with remaining meat.
  • While still in pan cut mixture into diamond shapes.
  • Brush peanut oil over top and bake 30 minutes.
