Mushroom Appetizers

- 1/2 pound small mushrooms shopping list
- 1/3 cup olive oil shopping list
- 3 tablespoons wine vinegar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon thyme shopping list
- 2 cups water shopping list
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Wipe mushrooms with damp cloth then trim off bottom and cut into halves lengthwise.
- Combine oil, vinegar, juice, salt, Tabasco, thyme and water.
- Bring to boil and simmer 5 minutes to blend flavors.
- Add mushrooms to boiling liquid then cook slowly for 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley then chill and drain before serving.
