- 1/2 Cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 3 eggs, beaten shopping list
- 1/2 Cup yellow cornmeal shopping list
- 1 Lbs green tomatoes, sliced 1/2 thick shopping list
- 1/2 canola oil shopping list
- kosher salt shopping list
How to make it
- Place the flour, eggs and cornmeal in three separate shallow bowls.
- Dip the tomatoesfirst in the flour, then the eggs (letting any excess run off) and finally the cornmeal, pressing gently to help it adhere.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Working in batches, cook the tomatoesuntil golden, 1 to 2 minutes per side.
- Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.Season with salt before serving.
- Enjoy!
