Great marinade for any type steak .

Ingredients
  • 1 cup safflower oil
  • 1/4 cup garlic vinegar
  • 1 tbls. lemon juice
  • 2 tbls. minced onion
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. each salt, marjoram, basil, and thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 6 -- 8oz. deer steaks ( any cut )

Directions
  1. blend all ingredients . place steaks in pan , pour marinade over steaks. Cover & refridgerate for 4-6 hrs . grill steaks over med. coals until desired doneness.

This turned out great! I used it on venison backstrap and made shish-ka-bobs...the family LOVED it!
