Chocolate Covered Butter Crunch Toffee

- 1 lb butter shopping list
- 2 cups granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
- 2 Tbsp white syrup shopping list
- frosting shopping list
- 1 (6 oz bag milk or dark chocolate chips, melted shopping list
- 1/4 cup finely chopped nuts shopping list
How to make it
- In a 2-quart saucepan, melt butter and sugar.
- Add water and syrup.
- Cook over low heat to 300 degrees F (crack stage).
- Pour into lightly oiled jellyroll pan.
- Cool.
- Spread with chocolate frosting , let frosting set and break into pieces.
