Garlicky Broccoli Recipe

Ingredients

4 cloves garlic (I use jarred minced or chopped garlic 4-6 teaspoons , but the more garlic the better :) I always say!)

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

2 large bunches broccoli ,cut into florets

1/3 cup olive oil

1/4 cup red wine vinegar

1 heaping Tablespoon dijon mustard

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese, or to taste

Directions

If using whole garlic cloves ,place in mortar dish or on cutting board and sprinkle with salt. Mash with pestle or the flat side of a knife to form a paste. (if using minced or chopped garlic I skip this step (except adding salt) I like the chunks of garlic in mine).

Transfer to medium bowl and stir in olive oil, vinegar and mustard.

Add broccoli and stir to coat.

Chill for 3 hours to marinate, stirring occasionally.

Sprinkle with parmesan cheese before serving.

**Have also used half mashed cloves and half chopped cloves of garlic.
