Angel Food Ice Cream Cake

- 1 8" angel food cake shopping list
- 1/2gal vanilla ice cream, slightly softened shopping list
- 2qt fresh strawberries shopping list
- sugar or sugar substitude shopping list
- Optional Garnish: butterscotch topping, toasted almond slivers. shopping list
How to make it
- Cut the cake in half; tear one half into small pieces and set aside.
- Cut the other half into 12-14 thin slices; arrange in the bottom of a 13"x9" pan, overlapping as needed. Spread softened ice cream over cake, pressing down to smooth. Gently press the cake pieces into the ice cream. Cover and freeze.
- Just before serving, slice strawberries and sweeten to tasteor if you wish drizzle with topping and sprinkle with almonds.
- Cut dessert into squares and serve with strawberries.
