How to make it

  • Combine chocolate, water and liqueur in a stainless steel bowl.
  • Set over a pot of simmering water; stir until chocolate is melted; cool.
  • Whip the cream to soft peaks; fold into cooled chocolate.
  • Recipe makes about 4 cups of mousse.
  • MOCHA MOUSSE PIE: Use a coffee liqueur and strong coffee instead of the water. Pour into a prepared 9" chocolate crumb crust.
  • MOUSSE BERRY PARFAITS: Layer mousse and fresh berries in parfait glasses.
  • WHITE CHOCOLATE MOUSSE PATE: Let mousse set in a small loaf pan lined with plastic wrap. Serve with a raspberry coulis.
