Creamy Apple Cobbler

- 1 cup whole wheat flour shopping list
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 cup melted margarine shopping list
- 1 medium egg shopping list
- 1/4 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger shopping list
- 1-1/4 cups water shopping list
- 1/2 cup raisins shopping list
- 6 cups peeled cored and sliced apples shopping list
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice shopping list
- 2 tablespoons margarine shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 425.
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Add margarine, egg and milk.
- Mix well then set aside.
- Combine brown sugar, cornstarch and ginger.
- Gradually add water stirring to dissolve cornstarch then add raisins and cook and stir until mixture is boiling.
- Add apples, lemon juice and margarine.
- Continue cooking until apples begin to soften.
- Turn apple mixture into a well oiled square pan.
- Drop prepared dough onto apple mixture by large spoonfuls.
- Bake for 25 minutes.

The whole wheat topping does not match the apples.
I rated this mediocre because of the clash of flavors.
Put a couple of blueberries in for color.
