This is a favorite in my house and I serve it with mashed potatos and green beans.

Ingredients
  • 3 pound roast (I use chuck)
  • 2 tablespoons cracked black pepercorns
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup of reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of Worchestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of dry mustard

Directions
  1. Rub cracked pepper and garlic onto roast.
  2. Put roast in crock pot.
  3. Make several shallow slits in top of roast.
  4. In a small bowl combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 5 hours.
