How to make it

  • Keep popcorn warn in the oven.
  • Combine brown sugar, corn syrup and margarine and cook until candy thermometer reaches 260.
  • Remove from head and add cream of tartar and baking soda.
  • Stir quickly then add salt.
  • Pour mixture over popped corn then mix well.
  • Bake at 300 for 20 minutes stirring after 10 minutes.
  • Dump out of pan and cool then store in airtight container.
