  • Preparation: 1.Combine cabbage, apples, sugar, vinegar and cloves in slow cooker. Cover; cook on HIGH 6 hours, stirring after 3 hours. Sprinkle with bacon, if desired. Garnish with apple slices.

    Looks very nice! I make something like this often in the winter, but I skip the sugar. Balsamic vinegar also makes a nice variation. :)
