Fruit Surprise Cake

My family loves mangoes...thus came out as a Fruit Surprise....
Ingredients
- For the cake : shopping list
- 1 1/2 C cake flour , 1 tsp baking pwd and pinch of salt shopping list
- 125 g butter shopping list
- 1 C Castor sugar shopping list
- 2 egg whites and yolks shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 C Fresh milk shopping list
- 3 medium size mangoes shopping list
- 1 mango cut into small cubes shopping list
- Puree : shopping list
- 2 Medium size mangoes shopping list
- 1/2 C caster sugar shopping list
- 100 g Cream cheese-philadelphia,200ml whipping cream shopping list
- 11/2 tsp gelatin powder shopping list
- Blend everything and keep it aside shopping list
How to make it
- Pre heat the oven to 175 deg .
- Beat the butter and sugar until creamy
- Add the egg yolks and vanilla
- Fold in the flour and milk alt. starting and finishing with the flour
- Fold in the beaten egg whites
- Pour in a cake pan and bake for 30 mins
- When cool slit into 2 .
- Place one layer back on the cake tin
- Spread the puree for 2-3 tsp
- Sprinkle one mango on top
- Place the other layer of cake on top
- Pour the puree on top
- Spread evenly
- Decorate on ur own taste,i have decorated with dates
- Chill for atleast 4 to 6 hours
