Moms Broccoli Salad Recipe

Ingredients

1 bunch ( about 1.5 lbs) broccoli, washed and trimmed and cut into bite size pieces. Peel and chop the stems too as the inside is nice and tender.

1/2 cup raisins washed and drained.

12 strips of bacon, cut up and fried til slightly crisp. Blot dry.

1 med red onion minced.

Dressing:

1 cup Miracle Whip salad dressing

1/2 cup sugar

2 Tbsp vinegar

Directions

Mix salad ingredients.

Mix dressing ingredients.

Mix 'em together.

Let mingle in fridge for a couple hours. (You can skip this step, but its better if the veggies and dressing get to know each other a bit )

Variations:

I have know some people to add sunflower seeds, and even grated cheddar cheese. Your choice.
