How to make it

  • Combine wine, vinegar, mustard, onion, garlic, brown sugar, salt, pepper, Worcestershire and cayenne pepper and blend well.
  • Marinate ribeyes in marinade in the refrigerator at least 2 hours.
  • Remove from marinate and grill 8 minutes on each side.
  • Saute mushrooms and onions in butter.
  • Top ribeyes with mushroom mixture right before serving.

    This sounds very good as well....I also make the mushrooms with red wine garlic and some sliced onions and sour cream...it is sooooo yummy.....you can have it on the side or top the steaks with them.....

    I tried the marinade on a pair of strip steaks (our excuse for trying to eat healthier) and it turned out quite good. My husband loved it as is; I could do without the mustard. I also added red wine and some sour cream to the mushrooms with good results. Good recipe!
