How to make it

  • cook your lima beans according to package
  • meanwhile, sautee onions, green bell peppers, marjoram, white pepper in butter over high heat. near end of sautee add garlic if you like it.
  • salt it up.
  • serve with small dishes of garnishes to choose from!

    yes, my measuring methods are always pinch and pour and taste when I'm just cooking something up - I tend to go heavy on the marjoram because I love the stuff and it never seems to overpower. I mixed in some cream cheese when I had my leftover serving the next day (limas AND cream cheese would have been just too much for hubby to take) It was soooo good, but then I am a cream cheese fiend:)

    I used dried baby lima beans. I'm going to try it with fresh limas...
