How to make it

  • Slice the peaches into 1/2 inch wedges. Toss gently in a bowl with the pepper and salt.
  • Dry until only slightly flexible ~8-10 hours at 135 degrees F in a food dehydrator.
  • Store in an airtight container or they will absorb moisture from the air.

    oh yum, I love to pepper my canteloupe; never thought of peppering my peaches (probably because I always just eat them whole) but now I will - and I may even try out the fancy dehydrater I got for a quarter at a rummage sale years ago:)! Thanks!
