Roast Chicken With Marinade Recipe
I had a hard time following the recipe, as I put this in my cook book when I made it, at 11 years of age. I hope you can follow along with it. I've had to fix the actual recipe that is in the book, just a bit.

Ingredients
  • 2 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 3 Tbsp vinegar (I didn't list the kind, that would have been helpful)
  • 2 large garlic cloves, pressed
  • 1 tsp. dried dill
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 3 chicken breasts

Directions
  1. To prepare marinade:
  2. Mix mustard in bow along with vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, dill, pepper and stir for 2 minutes.
  3. To prepare chicken:
  4. Skin chicken and wash it.
  5. Soak chicken in the marinade for 1-2 hours. Reserve the marinde after you remove the chicken.
  6. Put chicken in a shallow roasting pan, with a rack, and bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees. (I'm estimating you'll really have to turn the oven to a higher temperature, or roast for a longer duration.)
  7. After roasting, place chicken bone side down in a broiling pan. Baste with reserved marinade.
  8. Broil until golden brown.
