Frosting a Glass in Techno-Color

Ok.. everyone likes to rim a Margarita glass with salt, of a tropical drink with sugar.. but why not add some color!?
Ingredients
- sugar shopping list
- Kool-aid shopping list
- Citrus fruit that would compliment the drink shopping list
How to make it
- This is more of a fun technique rather then a true recipe.
- When rimming a glass take a piece of citrus fruit that works well with ones drink.
- Rub this around the rim of your glass to moisten
- Place Sugar in a saucer
- ADD KOOL-AID (the flavour determines the color) and mix with sugar
- Stuff glass down in sugar Kool-aid mix,
- Kool-aid will melt, making your sugar/salt rimmer colored!!
- Use Lemon/Lime (green) and salt for Margarita's
- Use Cherry or Strawberry (red) for many tropical drinks
- Etc...
- Super easy, and has many guests scratching their heads. As they will suspect you used FOOD COLOR.. (just shrug your shoulders and say... -could be....)
- Note: Food color wont work.. as its NOT dry when added to the sugar, and it all turns sloppy.... Makes a big mess. ..
- Note: Some drinks use Nutmeg, chocolate or cinnamon instead of Kool-aid adding a stong flavour. (which kool-aid does not)
