Kielbasa And Pineapple Recipe

Ingredients

3 lbs hillshire farm Polish kielbasa

2 cans chunked pineapple in heavy syrup

1/4 cup dark brown sugar

2-3 tbls yellow mustard or spicy mustard depend on your taste

3 tbls pineapple syrup

Directions

slice kielbasa about 1/8 of an inch or as thin of thick as you like

put into a baking pan

drain pineapple, but not dry just loose

add pineapple chuncks to kielbasa

in a bowl mix together brown sugar, mustard and pineapple syrup

add to kielbasa and pineapple

mix together, there won't be a lot of juice, but it will make more as it cooks and the grease comes out of the sausage.

Place in a preheated 350 degree oven. After 30 minutes stir and place back in the oven for another 30 minutes.

If you like it a little spicy use spicy brown mustard or any mustard you like. This is a very easy recipe that can be adjusted to your own taste.

Take out of oven and place in a bowl with a box of toothpicks or like my family just fill a bowl and enjoy

Thanks angelgal, I'll be posting more recipes. I have raised 3 children (my son is a chef) and now have 4 grandchildren who are fussy. I learned to cook from my dad who should have been a chef. I look forward to checking out your recipes, I did a quick scan and am interested in them. I just love and respect food and the best thing about it is there are no rules.

You are most welcome mark555. I just got home from my daughter's surprise birthday party and I never go to any party without making this dish. There were 25 people there and I made 5lbs and as usual it's all gone. I've been making this dish for over 20 years and have never found anyone that hasn't liked it. So please enjoy it.
