At first, we followed the steps and made the milkshake. It turned out to be a fail. Then we put a cup of the milkshake into the freezer and took it out in 30 mins and it had better taste. We added the amount of ice that the recipe called for and it didn't work. So, for future notice, if you think that you didn't add enough ice in the end then leave in freezer for a bit. This recipe is awesome. Milkshake tasted better when we found out our problem. We will keep this recipe in mind.

Yeah, I guess you could make it with less calories if you swap the Sugar for something else. I would use Stevia or Sweet n Low but they would change the flavor a bit b/c they can be bitter if you use too much. If anyone else knows of a good low cal/carb sweetener let me know. Agave Necter or Honey would be some other healthy alternatives to Sugar. Check out SweetPoison.com to see why I don't use Equal or Splenda.
