- 6 cups rolled oats (quick or old fashioned) shopping list
- ADD IN: shopping list
- 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar shopping list
- 3/4 cup wheat germ shopping list
- 3/4 cup coconut, shredded shopping list
- 1/3 cup sesame seeds shopping list
- BLENDER: shopping list
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 1/3 cup honey shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- Optional: shopping list
- 1 cup raisins shopping list
How to make it
- Measure Oats into 13x9x2 ungreased baking pan and warm in oven at 350 for 10 minutes.
- Mix 2nd group of ingredients into oats.
- Pour blended liquid mixture over other ingredients.
- Bake in oven at 350 for 20-25 minutes, stirring about every 5-7 minutes to brown evenly.
- Stir often during cooling process to crumble.
- Makes about 8 cups.
- (Raisins may be added after cooling.)
- Serve as a breakfast cereal with cold milk, as a snack, or as topping for ice cream.
