- 2/3 cup butter shopping list
- 2/3 cup of sugar shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1egg yolk shopping list
- zest of 1 lemon shopping list
- 3tbsp of brandy shopping list
- 1tsp of cinnamon shopping list
- pinch of ground cloves shopping list
- 1 cup of toasted ground almonds shopping list
- 11/4 cup of pastry flour or all purpose shopping list
- 2 large bananas sliced shopping list
- 1 can of condensed milk shopping list
- 3tbls of brown sugar shopping list
- tsp of vanilla essence or extract shopping list
- 2tbls of whipping cream shopping list
- 100mls whipping cream shopping list
How to make it
- to make pastry cream butter and sugar together add 1 egg and 1 egg yolk and stir together add lemon zest and mix
- then add brandy cinnamon cloves almond and flour together once pastry comes together in a ball wrap in plastic kitchen wrap and refrigerate for an hour
- once chilled lightly dust the bench space with a little flour roll out to a little thicker than quarter of an inch then cut out to fit little tart cases or one big one
- then return the pie case or cases back to the fridge for 15 minutes
- then prick the bottom of the tarts all over and bake for 15 minutes at a 175
- slice bananas to line the base of the tarts
- in a pot pour condensed milk brown sugar and vanilla stirring over a medium heat cook for 10 minutes or until thick stirring at all times
- once thickened add 2tbls of whipping cream 2tbls of brandy
- allow to cool till just warm pour over bananas
- whip the remaining cream and top your pies place in refrigerator for 30 minutes then enjoy
