How to make it

  • Unwrap and layer 16 of the icecream sandwiches in a LARGE pan.
  • Spread 1 of the Cool Whip containers over the icecream sandwiches.
  • Drizzle the whole jar of caramel topping over the Cool Whip.
  • Unwrap and layer the next 16 icecream sandwiches.
  • Spread the other container of Cool Whip over the sandwiches.
  • Crush the two candy bars and sprinkle it over the last layer of Cool Whip.
  • Freeze for at least one hour.

    Of course you can use Ready Whip. I just usually find Cool Whip cheaper and not much more of a hassel to spread it over the top.
